HIS HAVEN IS A VAMPIRE HISTORICAL ROMANCE THAT IS NOT LIKE THE NORMAL VAMPIRE BOOKS YOU READ. I REALLY ENJOYED THE AUTHOR'S WRITING AS I WAS IMMEDIATELY DRAWN INTO THE STORY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING UNTIL THE END. I REALLY ENJOYED ALL THE CHARACTERS ESPECIALLY AVRUM AND HAVEN. AVRUM HAS SUCH A GREAT SOUL AND PERSONALITY AND I LOVED HOW HE STOOD UP FOR HAVEN. HE DEFINITELY IS NOT YOUR NORMAL VAMPIRE. I ENJOYED THE CONSTANT ACTION AND SUSPENSE AND INTRIGUE THROUGHOUT THE STORY. THERE ARE A LOT OF SECRETS AND TWISTS AND TURNS THAT KEEPS THE READER GUESSING. HIS HAVEN WILL LEAVING YOU WANTING MORE AND YOU WILL FEEL LIKE YOU ARE APART OF THE STORY AS THE AUTHOR'S WRITING AND DESCRIPTIONS TAKE YOU TO A DIFFERENT TIME AND PLACE. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT BOOK IN THE SERIES. I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HARPER A. BROOKS COMES UP WITH NEXT. THIS AUTHOR HAS BECOME ONE OF MY FAVORITES. 4 STARS
