Review of Sometimes in Autumn by Natalie-Nicole Bates

Fifteen years ago, Bethany Minor fled her hometown after being left at the alter by Dane Brennan. After the sudden death of her mother, she is forced to return home and face her past.

The years have been hell for Dane, and seeing Bethany again only reopens wounds he long thought closed.
When they realize the flames of their past love never died, Bethany and Dane will need to confess all before they can have a chance to reclaim their life that once should have been.

But when the truth of the past is finally revealed, will they still stand as a couple?

MY REVIEW:

SOMETIMES IN AUTUMN IS A HEARTWARMING LOVE STORY THAT IS ABOUT FORGIVENESS AND SECOND CHANCES.  IT IS THE PERFECT HALLOWEEN LOVE STORY.  WE MEET BETHANY WHO WAS LEFT AT THE ALTER BY DANE BRENNAN, THE LOVE OF HER LIFE.  DANE REALLY HURT BETHANY AND SHE LEAVES TOWN.  BETHANY IS LATER FORCED TO RETURN HOME AFTER THE SUDDEN DEATH OF HER MOTHER.  WHEN DANE AND BETHANY SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN, THEY REALIZE THEIR FEELINGS HAVE NOT CHANGED.  WILL BETHANY AND DANE OPEN UP TO EACH OTHER AND CONFESS EVERYTHING SO THEY CAN MOVE ON?

SOMETIMES IN AUTUMN WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL LOVE STORY THAT FILLED YOU WITH HEARTACHE AND SORROW.  I FELT BETHANY'S PAIN ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE LOSES HER MOTHER, HER ONLY FAMILY.  DANE'S BETRAYAL WAS HARD FOR ME TO FORGIVE.  HE REALLY HURT BETHANY AND NEVER EXPLAINED ANYTHING TO HER.  BETHANY WAS AN AMAZING CHARACTER WHO WAS ABLE TO FORGIVE DANE DESPITE EVERYTHING.  I REALLY ENJOYED HER CHARACTER.  DANE HAD PAIN OF HIS OWN AND HE WAS ALWAYS TRYING TO PLEASE HIS FATHER.  HE JUST WANTED HIS LOVE AND RESPECT AND WAS ALWAYS TRYING TO EARN IT.  DANE DID REGRET HURTING BETHANY AND HAD ALWAYS LOVED HER.  HAVING THEM BOTH WORK FOR  A FUNERAL HOME WAS A NICE TOUCH.  VERY OUT OF THE ORDINARY FOR A LOVESTORY.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EMOTIONAL LOVE STORY ABOUT SECOND CHANCES, I RECOMMEND YOU READ SOMETIMES IN AUTUMN. IT IS A WONDER LOVESTORY BY ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING MORE OF HER BOOKS.   5 STARS

Review of Christmas Kisses & Wishes by Sharon Kleve

After her husband divorced her, Finn Dubose packed up her dog Scorch, gathered what was left of her dignity and set out on a twelve month adventure to find happiness.

All Finn wants is to go back to Charleston, South Carolina and spend the holidays with her grandmother after nine months of traveling from Florida, to Colorado, and then to Maine. But reluctantly, Finn promises Gran she’ll spend the last three months of the year in Seattle, Washington.

The spectacular vineyards in Eastern Washington entice Finn to drive from Seattle to the small town of Vine Grove. What she finds is a place full of kind, generous people, including, Keaton Vanhorn, a single, attractive, veterinarian. Even better, he loves animals as much as Finn.

Sometimes, a bottle of wine and The Love List is all you need to find love. Stop by the small town of Vine Grove and maybe you’ll be lucky in love too.

MY REVIEW

CHRISTMAS KISSES & WISHES IS A WONDERFUL LOVE STORY THAT TAKES PLACE IN THE SMALL TOWN OF VINE GROVE.  IT IS PART OF THE LOVE LIST SERIES.  WE MEET FINN WHOSE HUSBAND DIVORCED HER.  HER GRAN CONVINCES HER TO TRAVEL FOR A YEAR TO FIND HERSELF AGAIN AND HAPPINESS.  SHE PACKS UP THINGS AND LEAVES WITH HER PUG, SCORCH. FINN DECIDES TO TRAVEL TO THE SMALL TOWN OF VINE GROVE WHERE THERE ARE SPECTACULAR VINEYARDS.  SHE MEETS THE SEXY VETERINARIAN WHO LOVES ANIMALS JUST AS MUCH AS FINN.  THE SMALL TOWN OF VINE GROVE IS FILLED WITH KIND AND GENEROUS  PEOPLE.  AS FINN SPENDS MORE TIME WITH KEATON AND IN THE SMALL TOWN, SHE FINDS HERSELF FALLING IN LOVE WITH KEATON AND VINE GROVE.  HAS FINN FOUND HER HAPPINESS?  IS THIS WHERE SHE IS MEANT TO BE?

I LOVE SMALL TOWN SETTING IN MY STORIES.  I LOVE HOW EVERYONE IS SO CLOSE AND FRIENDLY IN THE SMALL TOWN.  THE TOWN OF VINE GROVE WAS NO EXCEPTION.  IT IS AMAZING HOW ANIMALS BRING A STORY TO LIFE AND BRING PEOPLE CLOSER TOGETHER.  I ADORED FINN'S PUG, SCORCH.  HE WAS SO CUTE AND ADORABLE.  I LOVED WATCHING FINN AND KEATON BOND OVER THEIR LOVE OF ANIMALS. IT BROUGHT THEM CLOSER TOGETHER AND THEY FELL EVEN MORE DEEPLY IN LOVE.  SHARON KLEVE ALWAYS DOES AN AMAZING JOB WITH HER STORIES. I LOVE THE SMALL TOWN SETTINGS AND THE ANIMALS BEING ADDED TO THE STORY.  IT MAKES THE STORY SO MUCH MORE BELIEVABLE AND REAL.  YOU MUST READ CHRISTMAS KISSES AND WISHES, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.  YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH SHARON KLEVE'S WRITING, CHARACTERS AND HER ANIMALS. SHE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS AND I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO READING THE NEXT BOOK SHE WRITES.  5 STARS

Sharon Kleve was born and raised in Washington and currently lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband.

Sharon is a multi-published author of contemporary romance. She loves romance. She loves reading romance, living romance, and especially loves writing about romance. She gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other's arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve—with a few bumps and bruises along the way.

One of her favorite things to do is pick up a new book and sink into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors have inspired her.

When not writing, she can usually be found either curled up in her recliner with her cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels.

Review of Off-Duty Christmas by Tammy Tate

Devastated at losing her parents at eighteen, she continues to mourn their death. Kaitlyn buries herself in her work, dispatching for the Cedar Creek Police Department. When holidays roll around, she works harder. If anyone attempts to get close romantically, she pushes them away refusing to love again.

That’s before Bryce, the handsome new Texas Game Warden comes to town vowing to change everything. Will he succeed in rocking her world, or will she also push him away?

MY REVIEW:

OFF-DUTY CHRISTMAS IS ANOTHER ENJOYABLE LOVE STORY BY AUTHOR TAMMY TATE.  I LOVE HER WRITING, HER STORIES AND CHARACTERS.  SHE HAS A WAY OF DRAWING YOU INTO THE STORY AND HOLDING YOUR ATTENTION TO THE VERY END.  OFF DUTY CHRISTMAS WAS NO EXCEPTION.  WE ARE INTRODUCED TO KAITLYN WHO LOST HER PARENTS AT 18.  SHE IS AFRAID TO LOVE AGAIN FOR FEAR OF LOSING THEM SO SHE PUSHES EVERYONE AWAY.  KAITLYN DEVOTES ALL HER TIME TO HER JOB AND WHEN A FRIEND ASKS HER TO GO AWAY FOR CHRISTMAS, SHE RELUCTANTLY AGREES.  SHE MEETS BRYCE, THE HOT HANDSOME NEW TEXAS GAME WARDEN.  KAITLYN AND BRYCE CLICK INSTANTLY.  THERE IS NO DENYING THEIR CHEMISTRY.  AS BRYCE AND KAITLYN SPEND MORE AND MORE TIME AGAIN, THEY FIND THEMSELVES FALLING IN LOVE.  WILL KAITLYN PUSH BRYCE AWAY FOR FEAR OF LOSING HIM?

OFF-DUTY CHRISTMAS IS A ROMANTIC LOVE STORY WHICH IS FILLED WITH SOME AMAZING CHARACTERS.  YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH BRYCE AND KAITLYN.  YOU WILL FEEL KAITLYN'S PAIN AND HEARTACHE.  I THINK EVERYONE FEARS LOSING THE ONES THEY LOVE BUT YOU SHOULDN'T ALLOW THAT TO STOP YOU FROM LIVING LIFE AND GETTING CLOSE TO SOMEONE.  YOU NEED TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST AS TAMMY TATE EXPRESSES THROUGH THE STORY.  OFF-DUTY CHRISTMAS IS A MUST READ.  I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING MORE OF HER BOOKS. 5 STARS

Biography
Tammy Tate was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida but has lived most of her adult life in Texas. Her passion to write began in high school. It follows her everywhere she goes...creating a world where anything is possible. She's been married to the same wonderful man for over thirty years. Her secret to a long marriage? It's easy when you marry your best friend. In her world, Friday night is still date night.

Before she became a full-time author, she was an Executive Secretary, a Computer Consultant/Technician, and a Communications Officer (Police Dispatcher). She doesn't mind a challenge which has allowed her to race a late-model in a women's powder puff race, run barrels and poles in a play-day rodeo and drive an 18-wheeler. Somewhere in between, she and her husband raised three wonderful children. When she's not breathing life into her characters or jotting down ideas for a new book, she and her husband are exploring country roads on their Honda Gold Wing.

Since she believes reading is the next best thing to writing, she enjoys romance, fantasy, science fiction and thrillers. In December of 2013, she signed her first book contract with a traditional publisher. Her books have made Amazon's Best Seller list.

Above all, she loves to hear from you…
