INTRODUCTION

Hi everyone My name is Victoria Zumbrum, 40 years old, married 14 years with 1 son. This is my very first blog. So bear with me. I have always wanted to have my own blog. I have always loved to read. I enjoy getting lost in a good book.
I love becoming part of the story and characters. I am hoping to bring my love of books to my readers.

I love reading different genres such as paranormal, young adult, romance, romantic suspense, mystery, Christian fiction, some horror, etc. The list goes on. I started reviewing books a couple of years ago and have done reviews for different blogs and even some authors. I really have enjoyed reviewing books and I will continue to do so. If anyone is interested in me reviewing a book for them, please contact me. I still have a lot to learn regarding my own blog so bear with me. I welcome and appreciate all followers.

Review of Taken by Storm by LJ Vickery

Anshar is god of the sky...but he's also something much more dangerous. Terrified for the safety of the woman he would call his own, he denies his attraction to keep her safe and the monster inside of him at bay. A battle is coming between the gods of the Blue Hills and the puritans who would destroy his kind before the gods can find their Chosen—mortals who are not just mates, but who can make the gods corporeal once more.

Lenore Crest is drawn to the taciturn god against her better judgment and in spite of the hateful lessons she's always been taught about his kind by the leader of a secret puritan society. Opening her heart to Anshar would be a betrayal to her people, and loving him could put everyone in danger.

Can their relationship survive in spite of his secrets and her misplaced allegiances?

MY REVIEW:

TAKEN BY STORM IS BOOK 2 IN THE IMMORTALS.  TAKEN BY STORM IS JUST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST BOOK. I AM REALLY ENJOYING THIS SERIES AND ALL THE CHARACTERS ESPECIALLY THE IMMORTAL GODS.  AUTHOR LJ VICKERY HAS WEAVED TOGETHER THIS ENTERTAINING, ACTION PACKED AND MAGICAL STORY FILLED WITH WIT, HUMOR, ROMANCE AND CONSTANT BANTERING BETWEEN THE GODS.  THERE ARE SO MANY PLOTS AND TWISTS AT EVERY CORNER IN THIS STORY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT.  THERE IS CONSTANTLY SOMETHING HAPPENING THROUGHOUT THE BOOK AND ALL THE GODS ARE SO HOT.  THERE IS A BROTHERLY BOND BETWEEN ALL OF THEM AND WHEN THEY FIND THEIR MATER THE BOND EXTENDS TO THEM JUST LIKE A FAMILY.

I REALLY HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES.  WHAT A WONDERFUL STORY.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ THIS SERIES.  YOU DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AND WILL IN LOVE WITH IT.  LJ VICKERY HAS WEAVED TOGETHER THIS WONDERFUL STORY LINE AND CHARACTERS.  YOU WILL LOVE THE TWISTS AND SURPRISES THAT COME UP IN EACH BOOK.  SHE IS AN EXCELLENT WRITER AND I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT BOOK IN THE SERIES.  I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MY OWN HOT IMMORTAL GOD.  5 STARS

Biography
LJ Vickery began writing when the muses in her antique farmhouse refused to let her sleep. She found great joy and success in creating historical fiction, but then the gods in her Immortal series demanded to be heard. Heeding their pleas, she gave each of them a voice, a safe haven in the Blue Hills of Massachusetts, and of course, true love. Hot, hard bodied Mesopotamian gods and a contemporary United States make for a potent mix, and LJ hopes you enjoy reading the Immortal's stories as much as she has writing them.

When LJ's not scribbling away, she's practicing Chinese medicine, keeping books for a contracting firm, and growing organic vegetables.

She lives in a charming, seacoast town south of Boston with her husband, two children, a dog, two cats, and one intrepid fish...who refuses to let the fish-tank be retired.
