She was about to lose her virginity and she was glad. She wanted to lose it with the wicked duc, not some dull apothecary’s assistant. Let the future be damned.
He bent to kiss her neck, now balanced on both elbows above her, and thrust in fully.She gave a little shriek as a stab of pain shot through her. He went still.
“You’re a virgin.” It sounded like an accusation. He dropped his head, his face curtained by his hair. “I…I didn’t know. I thought… I would never have just…”
“It’s better now.” How embarrassing that she’d shrieked. Now he felt warm inside her. Satisfying. This was where she belonged, joined to Henri Foucault. “This is nice.” He looked so contrite. But more than that, he looked a little…frightened. Not like the wicked duc at all. She couldn’t have that. “That kissing before… down there… was nice.”
“Have you, uh, never had an orgasm?”
She shook her head. “I would have known, I’m sure.”
He took a breath and squeezed his eyes at that. Then he opened them as though he had decided something. “You can get the same feeling again, only by a different means, if you’ll bear with me.” The small smile was back, but it was rueful now. “It won’t hurt like that again.”

TIME FOR ETERNITY IS BOOK 1 IN THE DAVINCI TIME TRAVEL SERIES. IT IS A PARANORMAL ROMANCE WITH A LOT OF HISTORY. IT WAS A VERY FAST PACE READ FOR ME. SUSAN DRAWS YOU INTO THE STORY WITH HER AMAZING WRITING AND CHARACTERS. WE ARE INTRODUCED TO FRANKIE IN PRESENT DAY WHO WAS TURNED INTO A VAMPIRE A LONG TIME AGO BY HENRI. FRANKIE LOVED HENRI VERY MUCH BUT HER LOVE COST HER EVERYTHING WHEN HE GAVE HER HIS BLOOD. FRANKIE MEETS ANOTHER VAMPIRE WHO GIVES HER THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO BACK IN TIME AND CHANGE THE PAST. FRANKIE DECIDES TO GO BACK INTO TIME AND KILL HENRI BEFORE HE CAN CHANGE HER.
MY REVIEW:
BACK IN THE PAST, FRANKIE IS FRANCOISE WHO IS VERY INNOCENT AND WHO FIGHT THE VOICE OF FRANKIE IN HER HEAD. SHE IS ALSO NOT SO BITTER AS FRANKIE. FRANCOISE LEARNS THE TRUTH ABOUT HENRI WHICH FRANKIE DID NOT KNOW AND SHE IS ABLE TO LET GO OF HER BITTERNESS. WILL FRANCOISE BE ABLE TO SAVE HENRI IN TIME SO THAT THEY MAY HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AS LOVE?
TIME FOR ETERNITY WAS A MOST ENJOYABLE LOVE STORY FILLED WITH SO MUCH ACTION AND ROMANCE. THERE WAS CONSTANTLY SOMETHING HAPPENING AND THE AUTHOR KEPT YOU GUESSING WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT. SUSAN SQUIRES' WRITING IS EXCELLENT AND SO ARE HER CHARACTERS. I ENJOY THE ADDED TOUCH OF HISTORY ALSO. I LOVE HOW SHE PORTRAYS HER VAMPIRES. I AM DEFINITELY A BIG FAN OF HER VAMPIRES AND STORIES. I LOVE A GOOD VAMPIRE STORY AND/OR PARANORMAL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD BOOK ABOUT VAMPIRES, I SUGGEST YOU PICKUP ONE OF SUSAN'S BOOKS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. 4 STARS
