INTRODUCTION

Hi everyone My name is Victoria Zumbrum, 40 years old, married 14 years with 1 son. This is my very first blog. So bear with me. I have always wanted to have my own blog. I have always loved to read. I enjoy getting lost in a good book.
I love becoming part of the story and characters. I am hoping to bring my love of books to my readers.

I love reading different genres such as paranormal, young adult, romance, romantic suspense, mystery, Christian fiction, some horror, etc. The list goes on. I started reviewing books a couple of years ago and have done reviews for different blogs and even some authors. I really have enjoyed reviewing books and I will continue to do so. If anyone is interested in me reviewing a book for them, please contact me. I still have a lot to learn regarding my own blog so bear with me. I welcome and appreciate all followers.

While the clock ticked towards afternoon recess, the sunny sky grew darker and darker. Soon, a fine mist of rain had turned into a steady stream of drops. There was no thunder and no lightning, just the type of perfect warm rainstorm that all kids love to play in. As Principal Rodney’s announcement of cancelling recess boomed out of the classroom speaker, Bart, rain gear in tow, had already headed out to the schoolyard, his hands waving happily in the air.

For the next 15 minutes, as his friends peered out of the classroom windows, Bart ran, jumped, did cartwheels, and stomped his feet in the biggest puddles he could find. He had the whole schoolyard all to himself. When recess ended, Bart hung up his coat and hat, removed his wet boots, and went back to his desk.

About the Author: Richard Marchand and Nicole Herbut are a father/daughter, grandfather/mother, author/illustrator team creating picture books for young boys and girls.
