I love becoming part of the story and characters. I am hoping to bring my love of books to my readers.

I love reading different genres such as paranormal, young adult, romance, romantic suspense, mystery, Christian fiction, some horror, etc. The list goes on. I started reviewing books a couple of years ago and have done reviews for different blogs and even some authors. I really have enjoyed reviewing books and I will continue to do so. If anyone is interested in me reviewing a book for them, please contact me. I still have a lot to learn regarding my own blog so bear with me. I welcome and appreciate all followers.

Review of Going Under by Anna Bishop Barker

EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT UNDERWATER Clinical researcher Rebecca Shaughnessy’s life has always been planned, ordered, controlled, logical. She isn’t a damsel and she doesn’t need a hero. What she needs is a decent day planner and some really good ice cream. And to stop looking at the hot new therapist’s backside. Ex- Army Ranger Max Lawrence has had his course plotted, focused, laid in. He isn’t looking to be anyone’s hero, even if he does appreciate the trusty steed and the mighty sword stories. But thoughts of ripping his new colleague’s bodice are keeping him up nights. Unfortunately, his current closest relationship is with his dog, and the mutt is getting more action from this infuriating redhead than he is. In every good fairytale there are dragons and monsters. The dragon in this tale may be their fiery attraction but the monster won’t remain in the past where he belongs. When the monster resurfaces, this damsel and her knight must brave the currents and fight to keep from going under. ****************************** “A romantic suspense fan’s must read for 2017.” ~ Amazon Review “Ms. Barker came out of the gate with a 5-star winner.” ~ Goodreads Review “Gripping, sensational story by a debut author who shows phenomenal promise…” ~National Bestselling Author Jessie Lane

MY REVIEW:

I HAVE NEVER READ ANY BOOKS BY ANNA BISHOP BARKER BEFORE AND I AM SO GLAD I DID.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVED GOING UNDER.  WHAT A WONDERFUL READ.  IT IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THOSE BOOKS YOU WILL NOT WANT TO PUT DOWN.  YOU WILL LAUGH AND YOU WILL CRY.  IT SUCH A SWEET AND EMOTIONAL LOVE STORY FILLED WITH SUSPENSE, MYSTERY AND ROMANCE.  THE SEXUAL TENSION BETWEEN MAX AND REBECCA WAS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND THE CONSTANT BICKERING BETWEEN THEM WAS HILARIOUS.  THE ADDED MYSTERY SURROUNDING REBECCA'S PAST WAS SO HEARTBREAKING AND SAD.  I REALLY ENJOYED THE ROMANCE BETWEEN MAX AND REBECCA AND LOVED WATCHING HER COME OUT OF HER SHELL WHEN SHE IS WITH MAX.  MAX WAS VERY PROTECTIVE OF HER AND OBVIOUSLY THEY WERE BOTH TAKEN WITH ONE ANOTHER.  WILL MAX BE ABLE TO PROTECT REBECCA FROM HER PAST?

GOING UNDER IS A MUST READ FOR ANYONE WHO ENJOYS A GOOD SUSPENSE, MYSTERY AND ROMANCE.  I REALLY LOVED THE STORY LINE AND THE CHARACTERS.  THE STORY WAS SO GOOD AND NOW I HAVE ANOTHER FAVORITE AUTHOR.  I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO READING MORE OF HER BOOKS.  ANNA BISHOP BARKER HAS BROUGHT THIS STORY TO LIFE WITH HER CHARACTERS AND WRITING.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PICK UP THIS BOOK. 5 STARS

Biography
Welcome to my page! Here’s a bit about me. I was born in Kentucky and raised in Florida, so I am a southerner through and through. Since I was old enough to pick up a book, I have been a voracious reader. I wrote the usual poetry and short stories in high school, but life happened and I kept the dream of writing in the back of my heart until opportunity and encouragement helped me to realize that dream.
I live in Tampa with my kids and grand kids and dogs and various other livestock. I am a bona fide Trekkie and all-around, unashamed geek.
My dream is to write the kind of books that I like to read - romantic, suspenseful, humorous and heartfelt, with a lot of hot sex!
Three random facts about me:
1. I was bitten by a shark when I was 14.
2. I have read War and Peace. (When I get to the afterlife, I am demanding that week of my life back. Sorry, Tolstoy.)
3. It is my sincere belief that any situation can be improved by eating some cheese.
Again, welcome to my page! Enjoy!
