MY REVIEW

SAMANTHA HOLT IS A NEW AUTHOR FOR ME.  I REALLY ENJOYED ALREK. IT WAS A MAGICAL HISTORICAL ROMANCE BETWEEN A VIKING AND PICT WHO ARE SWORN ENEMIES.  DESPITE EVERYTHING SHE LOST AT THE HANDS OF THE VIKINGS, ILISA RESCUES ALREK FROM THE OCEAN.  AS SHE IS NURSING HIM BACK TO HEALTH, ILISA IS FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIM.  ALREK IS NOT YOUR NORMAL VIKING.  HE HAS CHANGED AND WANTS TO SETTLE DOWN WITH A FAMILY. ALREK WANTS TO PROTECT ILISA AND HELPS HER AROUND HER HOME.  THE MORE TIME THEY SPEND TOGETHER AND GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER, ALREK AND ILISA FALL EVEN MORE DEEPLY IN LOVE. WILL ALREK AND ILISA BE ABLE TO OVERCOME THEIR OBSTACLES TO BE TOGETHER?

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SAMANTHA'S WRITING. SHE WRITES WITH SUCH PASSION AND DEEP EMOTION.  SAMANTHA'S CHARACTERS ARE SO VERY REAL LIKE AND SO FULL OF PASSION AND CHEMISTRY.  ALREK AND ILISA HAD INSTANT CHEMISTRY AND YOU CAN FEEL IT.  SAMANTHA HAS A WAY OF TELLING A STORY AND MAKING HER CHARACTERS COME TO LIFE.  THE STORY IS SO BELIEVABLE AND REAL.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ ALREK.  YOU WILL NOT REGRET.  IF YOU LOVE HISTORICAL ROMANCES, THAN THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU.  I WILL DEFINITELY BE READING MORE BOOKS BY SAMANTHA HOLT.  SHE HAS BECOME ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITE WRITERS.  5 STARS
