Richard Quisenberry A Fatherless Curiosity Book Tour and Giveaway

Becoming a father is easy, but choosing to be the father a child needs is incredibly difficult.

A Fatherless Curiosity

by Richard Quisenberry

Genre: Nonfiction, Parenting

Becoming a father is easy, but choosing to be the father a child needs is incredibly difficult. Some are blessed with proper role models, but the reality is many grow up without a father to guide them on the road of life.

A Fatherless Curiosity, stirring and empowering, is unique for two reasons:

*the vision and curiosity of a female provoked the conversation and created this anthology, and

*a group of men agreed to pull back the facade and reveal the heartwarming and gut-wrenching truths they have lived

Twenty-one men from all walks of life courageously share their truths to these questions:

*What does it feel like to have a father?

*How does it feel to be a father?

*How are you doing as a father?

It begins with unmasking the truth of fatherhood and its expectations (spoken and unspoken). It will leave you reflecting on the long-term effects of your childhood with or without your father and its impact on your life’s journey.

A Fatherless Curiosity will leave you with guidance, encouragement, and hope for stronger families, beautiful lives, and prosperous, healthy communities.

Richard Quisenbury (Coach Quis) has achieved and is still in pursuit of every dream he has set his mind to, including graduating from college, becoming a principal, driving across the country, learning many hobbies, traveling out of the country, falling deeply in love, creating a beautiful family, and identifying his life purpose, to name but a few.

With over 40 years of experience in the educational industry, Coach Quis is just as passionate today, as he was on his first day, about developing tomorrow’s personal and professional leaders. As said by Coach Quis, “If you want a different result, you must be willing to first take a different action. With the near epidemic proportions of unhappy employees, the need for personal and professional integration has never been more imminent.”

Note that he didn’t say work/life balance; he believes such a thing is both impossible and undesirable for we spend a disproportionate amount of our time working. Instead, the goal is to integrate all aspects of life so we thrive at our careers & our personal lives equally as well, where we aren’t leaving a part of us behind as we spend our days at work wishing we were somewhere else… anywhere else; or trying to be home with our children while distracted by the things not getting done at work. Instead of balance, it’s the power of presence we seek.

But, when she’s injured and caught in a fierce blizzard, it is Eagle Heart, alone, who rescues her.

Forced into each other's company, their attraction deepens. But a union between them is forbidden in both their worlds.

Can their love find a way to survive? Or will their differences separate them forever?

She Captures My Heart

The Medicine Man Book 2

Two Worlds. Two Hearts. A Forbidden Passion.

Amelia McIntosh was only fourteen when she fell in love with the young and handsome Gray Falcon of the Blackfoot Tribe. He’d helped her through a difficult time, and, for him in turn, she’d opened up a vital part of the medicine man's world. Five years later, Amelia is still in love with the mesmerizing Gray Falcon, but her refusal to marry anyone but him has created a dangerous problem for her and her family.

When Amelia—the pesky little girl from Gray Falcon's past—returns to the Northwest, he can't help but notice she has blossomed into a beautiful, desirable woman -- one who sets his heart aflame. Yet, he must resist her feminine charms because, though she is a friend, what she asks of him is against all Gray Falcon stands for as a medicine man.

United only in love, will love, alone, be enough to stave off a world threatening to pull them apart?

Warning: A sensuous romance that might cause a gal to capture the heart of her own true love.

Janet Morris Dream Dancer Book Tour and Giveaway

The universe called.

She answered.

Everything you've seen or read till now took you only to the brink . . .

Dream Dancer

Kerrion Empire Book 1

by Janet Morris

Genre: Epic SciFi Fantasy Adventure

The universe called. She answered.

Everything you've seen or read till now took you only to the brink . . .

Neither pure fantasy, nor straight science fiction, nor earthbound dynastic saga, Dream Dancer is a stunning amalgam of all three. It is a family saga with the epic appeal of Dune and the action and excitement of Star Wars. It is a saga of love, power and treachery that will appeal to men and women equally; full of action, compulsively readable and quite unlike anything being published in the realms of fantasy today.

The heroine, Shebat, is a remarkable girl from Earth. She is brought to the vast empire of the Kerrion family by a renegade son; named as its future ruler on a whim of his autocratic father; abducted to the slums where the Kerrions' slaves drug themselves with powerful mystical sorcery; and finally rescued to take part in a great rebellion. She falls in love with one brother but marries another and becomes more Kerrion than some born to the name. A magical seductress of men, passionate in her lust for power, Shebat moves among those who control the destinies of millions, for whom treachery and betrayal are as easy as murder. Set in the timeless future on a primitive, savage Earth and on the sophisticated habitats of deep space, Dream Dancer is the first volume of a three-part saga.

"Not since Dune have we witnessed a power struggle of such awesome intensity. Dream, Dancer may well be the I, Claudius of fantasy novels. A literary feast!" -- Eric Van Lustbader, author of The Ninja.

"Dream Dancer is a fascinating and lyrical story, told with great invention" -- Peter Straub, author of Ghost Story.

"The pacing is brisk; fascinating concepts abound." -- Booklist

**The Kerrion Empire series is Perseid Press' featured series for June and is on sale for Only $2.99 on kindle!!**

Best selling author Janet Morris began writing in 1976 and has since published more than 30 novels, many co-authored with her husband Chris Morris or others. She has contributed short fiction to the shared universe fantasy series Thieves World, in which she created the Sacred Band of Stepsons, a mythical unit of ancient fighters modeled on the Sacred Band of Thebes. She created, orchestrated, and edited the Bangsian fantasy series Heroes in Hell, writing stories for the series as well as co-writing the related novel, The Little Helliad, with Chris Morris. She wrote the bestselling Silistra Quartet in the 1970s, including High Couch of Silistra, The Golden Sword, Wind from the Abyss, and The Carnelian Throne. This quartet had more than four million copies in Bantam print alone, and was translated into German, French, Italian, Russian and other languages. In the 1980s, Baen Books released a second edition of this landmark series. The third edition is the Author's Cut edition, newly revised by the author for Perseid Press. Most of her fiction work has been in the fantasy and science fiction genres, although she has also written historical and other novels. Morris has written, contributed to, or edited several book-length works of non-fiction, as well as papers and articles on nonlethal weapons, developmental military technology and other defense and national security topics.

Janet says: 'People often ask what book to read first. I recommend "I, the Sun" if you like ancient history; "The Sacred Band," a novel, if you like heroic fantasy; "Lawyers in Hell" if you like historical fantasy set in hell; "Outpassage" if you like hard science fiction; "High Couch of Silistra" if you like far-future dystopian or philosophical novels. I am most enthusiastic about the definitive Perseid Press Author's Cut editions, which I revised and expanded.'
