EMERALD O'BRIEN HAS DONE IT AGAIN. SHE CONTINUOULY REMINDS ME WHY SHE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS. BLEED II IS BOOK 2 IN THE SKULL SERIAL KILLER SERIES AND IS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST BOOK. IT IS A CHILLING SLASHER NOVEL THAT WILL LEAVE THE READER ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT. EMERALD DOES A GREAT JOB IN BLENDING HORROR, SUSPENSE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLS TOGETHER IN THIS AMAZING STORY. EMERALD HAS CREATED VERY STRONG AND LIKEABLE CHARACTERS WHICH ALLOWS THE READER TO BECOME EMOTIONALLY INVOLVED IN THE SURVIVAL OF EACH CHARACTER. DESPITE THE CONSTANT FEAR AND HEARTACHE, THE CHARACTERS CONTINUE TO GROW AS THE SERIES PROGRESSES. THERE ARE ALOT OF SUSPENSEFUL TWISTS AND TURNS THAT WILL LEAVE THE READER CONSTANTLY GUESSING WHO WILL DIE NEXT AND WHO ELSE HAS DARK SECRETS. I LOVE EMERALD'S WRITING AND I AM NEVER DISAPPOINTED IN ANY OF HER STORIES. I AM EXCITED FOR THE NEXT BOOK IN THE SERIES AND WHAT IS NEXT FOR THE SURVIVORS OF THE SKULL.  MUST READ FOR FANS OF SLASHER FILMS. 5 STARS

Emerald O'Brien is a Canadian author, born and raised just east of Toronto, Ontario. She graduated from her Television Broadcasting and Communications Media program at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario.
