Review of Bloodline by Jim Ody and M.L. Rayner

Two little girls abducted in broad daylight. An unsolved crime that still shocks the small town of Burntwood. After his grandfather’s sudden disappearance, Drew Hall, with the help of his childhood sweetheart, seeks to uncover the mystery. But family research is no easy task. The more they uncover, the deeper they are dragged into a sinister hole of darkness. Voices whisper in the dead of night as shadows lurk around every corner. A tangle of lies is yearning to be unravelled. But somebody desires to keep the truth buried at any cost. Every root holds a secret.

MY REVIEW:

BLOODLINE IS A CREEPY MURDER MYSTERY THAT DRAWS YOU INTO THE STORY ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AND HOLDS YOUR ATTENTION UNTIL THE END. ALTHOUGH THE STORY IS SLOW AT FIRST, THE PACE DOES PICK UP AS YOU GET TO KNOW THE CHARACTERS IN THE STORY. THERE ARE ALOT OF TWISTS AND TURNS THAT TAKE YOU IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS AS DREW AND HIS SWEETHEART INVESTIGATE. I WOULDN'T SAY THE STORY WAS HORROR BUT MORE OF A GHOST STORY THAT LEAVES YOU WITH A SUPRISING TWIST. I REALLY ENJOY THE AUTHORS WRITING STYLES AND LOOK FORWARD TO READING MORE BOOKS BY JIM ODY AND M.L. RAYNER. IF YOU ENJOY A GOOD GHOST STORY WITH A MURDER MYSTERY, THIS IS A MUST READ FOR YOU. 4 STARS
