Review of It That Has No Name by P.S. Kessell

Katie Carrollton and her friends decide to spend the first party of their senior year at an old house, recently acquired by her mother’s real estate company. The party is set for early October, so preparations begin. First and foremost, they have to gain access to the house without Katie’s mother’s knowledge. Once that’s done, the celebration is on. As the night progresses, the partiers experience unexplainable events. They become the targets of nameless supernatural foes, and their lives are now in danger. Horrific attacks force each party guest to face his or her deepest, darkest fears. Katie soon learns she has a connection to the mysterious house; her ancestors once owned it. Due to frightful occurrences, her own newly realized gifts awaken and could help them stay alive. Katie’s unknown family secrets are the key to saving her friends—friends who will be forever changed by this night of terror.

MY REVIEW:

THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK I HAVE READ BY P.S. KESSELL AND IT WON'T BE THE LAST. IT THAT HAS NO NAME IS A GREAT HORROR STORY THAT WILL LEAVE YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT.  THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE LIFE OF A TEENAGER WHO IS PLANNING A PARTY IN AN OLD HOUSE FOR HALLOWEEN  WHAT KATIE DOESN'T REALIZE IS THAT THE HOUSE IS FILLED WITH SUPERNATURAL AND EVIL FORCES THAT CONNECT WITH HER ANCESTORS.  AS KATIE AND HER FRIENDS PARTY, THE BODIES START PILING UP AS HER FRIENDS FACE THEIR WORST FEARS AND A DEMON AND SHIFTER THAT HAS NO NAME.

IT THAT HAS NO NAME WAS A COMPLETE SURPRISE FOR ME. I AM A BIG FAN OF HORROR AND I REALLY ENJOYED THIS STORY. I WAS DRAWN INTO THE STORY FROM THE VERY FIRST UNTIL THE END.  THE AUTHOR HAS A WAY OF MAKING YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ONE OF THE CHARACTERS WHO ARE BEING ATTACKED BY THIS CREATURE AND IT SEND SHIVERS UP YOUR SPINE.  I REALLY LOVED THE STORY  IT WAS VERY CREEPY AND SCARY AND I LOVED THE STORY ABOUT KATIE'S ANCESTORS. THIS IS A MUST READ FOR YOU HORROR FANS OUT THERE. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT BOOK IN THE SERIES. 5 STARS
