Review of Rescue Me by Sharon Kleve
In RESCUE ME, Quirky, Private Investigator, Sage McGuire has her self-defense skills down pat, but still needs rescuing from a vicious lobster.
In addition to frightening crustaceans, she has a secret admirer known only as Smiley Emoji, a major confusing case, and a purse-snatcher she had to go mano-a-mano with.
Sage is obsessed with her lack of cooking skills. When she flunks a cooking class, she is still determined to fix Carter Morgan, her sex-as-hell boyfriend, a gourmet meal he will never forget.
Just another typical day for PI McGuire.
Sage will soon be back in HOLD ME – A Sage McGuire Romance.
MY REVIEW:
RESCUE ME IS BOOK 4 IN THE SAGE MCGUIRE ROMANCE. I LOVE THE SAGE MCGUIRE ROMANCE SERIES. THE BOOKS ARE VERY ENTERTAINING AND FUNNY. NOT ONLY ARE THE BOOKS FUNNY BUT THERE IS ROMANCE AND A CASE TO BE SOLVED. RESCUE ME WAS NO EXCEPTION. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK AS WELL. I LOVE SAGE. TROUBLE SEEMS TO FIND HER. IN RESCUE ME, SHE HAS A SECRET ADMIRER AND IS TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO COOK. CARTER AND SAGE ARE BABYSITTING A K-9 DOG. SAGE'S CHARACTER IS SO HILARIOUS AND QUIRKY. SHE IS A VERY ENTERTAINING CHARACTER WHO MAKES ME LAUGH OUT LOUD. SAGE'S FIANCE, CARTER CALLS HER A WALKING DISASTER WHICH SHE PRETTY MUCH IS. I THINK CARTER AND SAGE ARE A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. SAGE SETS OUT TO GET HER MAN OR WOMAN IN EACH CASE.
SHARON KLEVE HAS DONE A WONDERFUL JOB WITH THIS SERIES. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU READ THE BOOKS IN ORDER. YOU WILL GET THE MOST ENJOYMENT FROM THE SERIES IF YOU DO THAT. YOU WILL LOVE SHARON'S WRITING, HER STORYLINE AND HER CHARACTERS ESPECIALLY SAGE. SAGE IS THE WHOLE STORY. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT BOOK IN THE SERIES. SHARON NEVER DISAPPOINTS ME. 5 STARS.
Biography
Sharon Kleve was born and raised in Washington and currently lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband.
Sharon is a multi-published author of contemporary romance. She loves romance. She loves reading romance, living romance, and especially loves writing about romance. She gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other's arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve—with a few bumps and bruises along the way.
One of her favorite things to do is pick up a new book and sink into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors have inspired her.
When not writing, she can usually be found either curled up in her recliner with her cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels.
