Review of Protest of Love by Samna Ghani

Mary Gardner is a successful career-oriented woman with a passion for work and books. She is part of The Monday Mystery Society at Acorns, the local bookstore in Oakville. Her life is perfect, in her opinion, till she meets Stefan. Things start going downhill as he infiltrates her work, her life and her heart.

Stefan Larsson, a dashing European attorney fighting for the rights of the weak and downtrodden. He threatens everything Mary has worked so hard to achieve. He is smart but aggressive; passionate but dominating. He’s out to get Mary but the question is: will he remain unscathed?

MY REVIEW:

PROTEST OF LOVE IS BOOK 5 IN THE MONDAY MYSTERY SOCIETY.  I HAVE NOT READ THE OTHER BOOKS BUT I WOULD LOVE TO.

MARY AND STEFAN ARE BOTH PASSIONATE AND CARING PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEIR JOBS.  WHEN THEY MEET, TEMPERS FLAIR AND PASSION ERUPTS BETWEEN THEM. STEFAN IS TRYING TO PROTECT HIS CLIENT'S FROM MARY'S COMPANY.  MARY TRULY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON AT THE COMPANY.  SHE THINKS THE COMPANY IS BEING FAIR.  AS MARY AND STEFAN GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER,THEY FIND THEMSELVES FALLING IN LOVE.  WILL THEIR LOVE SURVIVE THEIR CONFLICT?

SAMNA HAS CREATED ANOTHER ROMANTIC TALE FILLED WITH PASSION AND CONFLICT.  I WAS VERY ENTERTAINED WITH THE CONSTANT BICKERING BETWEEN MARY AND STEFAN.  YOU COULD FEEL THE ATTRACTION INSTANTLY BETWEEN THEM.  SAMNA HAS DONE A WONDERFUL JOB WITH HER CHARACTERS.  I LOVE SAMNA'S WRITING AND WOULD RECOMMEND YOU READ ANY OF HER BOOKS INCLUDING PROTEST OF LOVE AND THE OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES. 4 STARS
